    Fall

Evan and I noticed that the trees are starting to change colors and I'm very excited for fall!  It's so beautiful in WV in the fall.  Actually, it's beautiful here just about all of the time.  I really am blessed to have a gorgeous view on my way to work.  Praise God for the beauty of his marvelous creation!

I also want to say that I have one of the cutest dogs ever (I think he's the cutest ever, but I'm biased).  I just helped Dad carry in Lu's dog food, and Lu was behind Dad, hopping on his hind legs, following him into the kitchen.  It was so cute!  Yesterday he was dancing around outside on his hind legs (okay, he was looking at something, but it looked like he was dancing).  He's about two years old.  I also have a very adorable and sweet cat - I love her too.  I believe she's about 14 years old.  I just felt like I should mention Callie as well.  Speckles, the bird...well, he doesn't like people.  ;)  I'm pretty sure he's 12 years old.  Yay for the blessing of animals!  :)

    Good night and God bless!

  • HOME

So I almost feel like I fell off the face of the Earth.  I finally finished up my summer class on Thursday, August 10, and Mom, Lauren and I left for Boston that Friday.  The 51st Annual Circle K International Convention (ICON) began on Saturday, August 12, and officially ended in the evening on Tuesday, August 15.  We had a dance that lasted until the 16th, and most people left on the 16th.

It was such a busy convention!  I loved it though!  I just have to say that

    I *love* CKI!

    Guv Luv!

Anyway, enough of that for now.  I have so many fun pictures which will be up on Facebook soon!  I'll probably actually do a real post sometime, but not tonight.  I'm tired and I start school again on Monday.  Woohoo!  I actually am kind of excited.  :)

Oh, so a fun thing about ICON:  Laurel actually got me to dance...that is certainly an accomplishment!  Congrats to the Montana Governor for accomplishing this!  :)

For those of you who aren't in CKI - "Catch the fever - it lasts forever!"  I think I need a T-shirt that says, "Ask me about CKI" or something.  :)

By the way, it's my job to be a CKI nerd ;)  Besides, I'm tired and have been focusing on CKI stuff for the past two weeks.

  • Exam Two: Complete

We had our second exam in physical science today.  It would have been fine if I could have remembered to use the speed of light in the equation.  Silly me!  Oh well...maybe I'll get partial credit....

Jake came to church yesterday, and he seemed to enjoy it!  That was exciting!  I didn't get to meet with Robert, but I did go to lunch at Macado's then to see "You, Me and Dupree" with Emily and Amelia.  The movie was okay - not the best I've seen lately.  Spending time with Amelia and Emily was great though.  I came home and took a nap, then studied for a little while.  I also went to Brad's house and spent some time with Brad and Jerad.  I got a little bit of tutoring while I was there....  I really miss them.  It's been such a long time since I've spent time with Jerad.  I hope I get to spend more time with both of them before Jerad goes back to MU.

Anyway, Ryan came by right before Jerad and I left, then all three of us left together.  I had to go meet Jake to give him some equations, then I came home and went to bed.  Yesterday was a full day, but it was a good day.

Some good news about the exam:  Dr. Hill gave us the last question as free points.  That was exciting stuff!  Regardless of how I did on the exam, it's over and I still have a lot to do today.  What do I have to do today??

DCI at Salem!!  Woo hoo!  I am so excited!!

Anyway, I have some homework to do before we leave at 4 today, and I hope to get a little nap.  I'll probably blog about DCI later!

    God bless!
